Sunreef MM 460 CAT

With a constantly growing demand for large luxury sailing catamarans, Sunreef Yachts joins forces with one of the world’s top yacht designers, Malcolm McKeon, to present a radical superyacht concept: the SUNREEF MM460 CAT. Known worldwide for its in-house manufacturing and design, Sunreef Yachts now embarks on a special collaboration focused on one of the most exciting multihull concepts in the industry.

The design is defined by its impressive glass superstructure, upon which a 60-square-meter flybridge is perched. This additional expanse not only provides clear lines of sight from the two helm stations in all directions but also offers a secure and thrilling place for guests to relax as the yacht sails, with fantastic elevated views.

With the yacht’s 16.65 meters in beam, the aft deck boasts positively palatial proportions. Beneath the flybridge overhang, a sheltered lounge and outdoor dining area are created, while farther aft, L-shaped sofas cuddle against the railings and conceal steps leading down to the swim platforms.

The main salon is accessed through full-height glass doors that retract nearly the entire width of the superstructure, and a spacious lounge and dining area that expands to accommodate 18 people await.

On the main deck, you’ll find the master and VIP suites. Equal in size, both cabins feature a chaise longue, desk, and walk-in closet. The views overlook the forward cockpit with its loungers and jacuzzi, accessible through the main corridor. From the salon, stairs lead to the lower deck in both hulls.

The starboard hull houses guest accommodations, with four ensuite cabins, all convertible between double and twin configurations. Aft, in the starboard hull, the Sunreef MM460 CAT carries a 6.2m tender, and there’s space for additional water toys, scuba tanks and compressor, as well as a storage for wetsuits. The crew/rescue tender is stowed in the bow locker, and there’s also space for two jet skis below deck.

In the port hull, a beach club steals the spotlight. It’s equipped with a bar counter and stools, an adjacent sauna, and a 2.5m folding platform providing direct water access from the port side.

The crew cabins are also located in the port hull. There are three cabins with double bunk beds, plus an engineer’s cabin and a captain’s cabin, along with the crew mess, laundry, and yacht’s galley.

The Sunreef MM460 CAT is a capable and safe cruiser. It will handle transoceanic journeys with ease and is capable of being self-sufficient for extended periods of navigation.
